Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British-born American philosopher, writer, and speaker, best known as an interpreter and populariser of Eastern philosophy for a Western audience. ... Watts wrote more than 25 books and articles on subjects important to Eastern and Western religion, introducing the then-burgeoning youth culture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. In Psychotherapy East and West (1961), Watts proposed that Buddhism could be thought of as a form of psychotherapy and not a religion. He considered Nature, Man and Woman (1958) to be, "from a literary point of view - the best book I have ever written."[2] He also explored human consciousness, in the essay "The New Alchemy" (1958), and in the book The Joyous Cosmology (1962). ... According to the critic Erik Davis, his "writings and recorded talks still shimmer with a profound and galvanizing lucidity."

At first glance I thought this collection was of the Eastern Religion Professor Alan Watts, who by the way is not a new age Guru, as another reviewer has stated. It's obvious he has not read or listened to him.
The file is big, but I think it is a great find and thankful for the person who uploaded these gems, thank you.

Just so you know, this collection has a bunch of files from Alan Watts (with an S) - who is definitely not the same person as Alan Watt.
Watt (no S) is a Scottish guy currently living in Canada who talks a lot about ancient religions, secret societies, and the current age of deception, or "conology" as he'd call it.
WattS, on the other hand, was exactly the kind of guy that Watt (no S) would warn you about - a new-agey guru who hyped up eastern philosophy and psychedelic drugs. He's associated with many of Watt's (no S) most frequently mentioned villains, such as Aldous Huxley, Gregory Bateson, and the Esalen Institute.
I'm really surprised to see these two men's works packaged together when their messages couldn't be further apart.
Anyway, I'd definitely recommend listening to the first half of the collection (the no S files.)
